Automation Engineer - Allen Bradley

A global leader in the Biotech space is looking for PLC engineers to join their expanding teams in Ohio. This is an ONSITE role where you will be required to work 5 days per week at the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement automation solutions that enhance production efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP guidelines, and other industry standards.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
• Document all engineering activities, including design specifications, validation protocols, and maintenance logs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce downtime.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Allen Bradley control systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with industry regulations such as FDA, GMP, and GAMP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications in Allen Bradley systems or related areas are a plus.
