Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer

The Judge Group is seeking an MEP Engineer for a fabrication company in the Commerce, TX area.

COMPENSATION: $90k – 120k

LOCATION: Onsite

RELOCATION: Provided for the right candidate

MUST HAVE: 3+ years of experience designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

MUST BE: A US Citizen or a Green Card holder living in the US currently

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and overseeing the implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including generator rooms, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.

• Review and analyze specifications and designs of MEP systems

• Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into the overall shelter design

• Perform calculations to ensure structurally safe projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures

• Provide professional consultations on repairs, designs, and construction

• Participate in project meetings and take an active role in resolving concerns and solving problems

• Perform construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to contractor requests for information (RFIs), and performing site visits to resolve construction issues

• Assist in analyzing the critical path schedule for design and construction projects

• Prepare, review, and approve project documents including building and systems designs, estimates, specifications, bid packages, technical and engineering correspondence, and reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field preferred

• 3+ years of experience designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software

• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
