Your Role as an HR Coordinator:
- Manage recruitment ads and post positions as needed in the applicant tracking system, Paycor Recruiting, and independent job boards including LinkedIn, Indeed, and Hospitality Online.
- Review applicants in the applicant tracking system and all job boards daily.
- Reject candidates that do not meet the minimum job requirements.
- Arrange interviews for hiring managers by coordinating schedules, setting calendar invitations, and providing candidate information for qualified candidates.
- Refresh aging job postings to drive additional candidates.
- Attract additional applicants by sourcing candidates to build a candidate pipeline.
- Ensure job advertisements meet local, state, and federal laws and regulations including pay transparency laws.
- Conduct reference checks as needed.
- Submit, monitor, and review preemployment background screenings, drug screenings, and motor vehicle checks.
- Distribute weekly recruiting report to leadership.
- Review and approve recruiting invoices and assist with managing the recruiting budget.
- Manage employee referral process including ensuring necessary paperwork is completed, submitted to payroll, and filed.
- Create and send employment offer letters and other hiring documents as needed.
- Assist in onboarding management and corporate office positions.
- Assists the HR department in carrying out various human resource responsibilities including but not limited to managing HR inbox, employment verifications, mail, document management, assisting payroll and benefits, etc.
- Help maintain management and property directory.
- Assist with updated job descriptions, job postings, and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
- Manage job board company feedback and respond to all submissions.
- Coordinate exit interviews.
- Assist with market pay analysis and managing compensation ranges.
- Review training completions and notifying managers of delinquencies.
- Assist with phone screenings.
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned by manager.
- Performing other HR responsibilities as needed..
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in HR focusing on recruiting.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, human resource management or similar field
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal HR laws and regulations applicable to this role.
- Self-starter and ability to prioritize work and multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience utilizing HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience using third party job boards.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
