Recruiting Coordinator

The Recruiting Coordinator plays a critical role in the talent acquisition process by supporting the recruiting team and hiring leaders in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent. This role is responsible for coordinating interview logistics, facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers, managing onboarding processes, and maintaining a positive candidate experience from initial contact through hire. Additionally, the Recruiting Coordinator will source candidates, ensure alignment with organizational hiring goals, and provide administrative support to streamline the recruitment workflow. This position is essential in helping the team meet hiring targets and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment function.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist recruiters in identifying and sourcing qualified candidates through job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Creating and posting job requisitions in ATS and other job bords
  • Maintain and update candidate databases, ensuring information is current and accurate.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for candidates, if needed.
  • Prepare interview materials and ensure all parties have necessary information.
  • Serve as a key contact for candidates, providing timely updates and information throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain and update recruitment metrics and reports, tracking progress against hiring goals and timelines.
  • Manage job postings on internal and external platforms and ensure job descriptions are up-to-date.
  • Support the recruitment team in special projects and process improvements.
  • Facilitating the pre-hire process with candidates, to include on boarding module launches, background and drug screen processes.
  • Assist in content creation and posting for Recruitment Marketing
  • Coordinating and scheduling career fair events as well as organizing candidate information
  • Strong commitment to providing a positive candidate experience, with a helpful and approachable demeanor.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in a recruiting, HR, or administrative support role, with prior experience in coordinating interviews, onboarding, or recruiting processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic recruiting practices, sourcing techniques, and onboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in hiring.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and communicate professionally with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact positively with candidates and hiring managers.
