Job Title: Business Process Consultant
Location: Tallahassee, Florida (Local candidates are preferred, and hybrid work may be considered)
Duration: 1 yr, plus extension - 2 openings
Rate: W2 + CHP
Start Date: November, 2024
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
1) Familiarity with the Florida PALM project;
2) Familiarity with FLAIR data;
3) Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff at various levels;
4) A minimum of ten (10) years of IT business/industry work experience;
5) A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in performing business analyses on IT projects;
6) Experience in the use of Microsoft Visio for creating the process model diagrams;
7) Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies;
8) Experience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria.
Preferred Experience:
1) Skills and experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups of people to discuss business processes. The people involved may be at the manager level or end user level. People may be business-oriented or technical (IT) staff. The contractor will be expected to be the lead in all meetings and discussions related to their analysis. Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques is beneficial.

11) Experiences in working with IT technical staff to determine the infrastructure components within which any potential solution or modification would need to be able to operate.
Educational qualifications meeting at least one of the following levels:
1) A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field;
2) Equivalent work experience.

- Comply with OATS Administrative Policies and Procedures by working directly with the Department’s Contract Manager throughout the PO term.
- Prepare ISDM or SDF documentation that indicates the project complies with OATS policies and procedures. Apprise OATS staff on ISDM or SDF information as directed by the Department’s Contract Manager.
- Communicate relevant information to project teams and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Facilitate meetings throughout the term of the PO. At a minimum, meeting responsibilities include: Proofread meeting documentation to ensure use of proper grammar and consistent font styles.
- Attend the meeting and communicate with attendees in a clear, concise, and constructive manner.
- Provide meeting documentation in the format designated or approved by OATS.
- Make necessary meeting arrangements and create needed artifacts to fulfill meeting objectives.
- Create a meeting agenda and send it to attendees in advance of the meeting.
