Summary

The Senior Manager, Logistics Operations Planning will be responsible for overseeing all tasks and personnel related to supply chain planning, including creating wholesale forecast plans and reporting that will support our customer's business plans. This role will also be responsible for reviewing all aspects of the supply chain pipeline on a daily basis, and coordinating programs and activities with other departments to react to the newest information available.

Responsibilities

Oversees the forecasting, development and execution of wholesale planning strategy by location for customers

Responsible for developing and implementing KPI's for Wholesale Achievement both Nationally and by Sales Regions

Overseeing the logistics planning process and ensuring that it is tailored to meet the expectations of new customers

Measures performance of the Vehicles Logistics Group and vendors in support of achieving wholesale goals and makes recommendations and adjustments as needed

Represents the company in high visibility client meetings by presenting company logistics plan, updates, objectives and results

Regularly interfaces with high level clients to ensure our business plans are meeting client needs

Providing coaching, training and guidance to personnel on daily tasks

Manage process documentation and record keeping

Oversee the completion and accuracy of existing reports and implementation of new reporting that will add value for customers based on feedback and market trends

Coordinate and support Port, VPC expansion and VL capacity growth efforts through planning and analysis of wholesale objectives

Other Duties as Assigned

Ad hoc projects may be assigned by management

Compensation Range

$110,000- $130,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills & Qualifications

Supply chain knowledge required

Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required

Critical thinking and analytical skills required

Excellent presentation skills required

Strong ability to effectively delegate and manage a team required

Education & Experience

Associate's Degree Required

8- 12 Years of Experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Required

10- 15 Years Preferred

Finished Vehicle Logistics Experience Preferred

6 Years of Indirect Experience Required

8 Years Preferred

1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required

4- 7 Years Preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
