Summary
The Senior Manager - IT Project will lead development and activation of a multi-year IT strategy which will be centered on new business models for GLOVIS America, with technology as a key enabler. Primary duties will include planning IT strategy to support company business and leading IT projects to meet GLOVIS goals with SAP-based ERP solutions; leading analysis and design in the SAP FI/CO area, in close cooperation with the finance team.
Responsibilities
IT Strategy and Planning
IT strategic business planning & progress checking aligned with HODs direction on new business opportunities
Provide strategic justification through the preparation of a business case for each major IT project
Liaise with internal stakeholders and subsidiary IT counterparts to ensure clear and consistent communication about IT decisions that impact the broader organization
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Manage critical issues & resolutions related to existing SAP solutions
Analyze, design, implement, and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions
Streamline existing business processes; work with users to identify areas of improvement, create functional and technical requirements for changes, and provide relevant training
Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP FI/CO module to end users
Prepare functional specifications to assist the technical consultant in developing/making changes in ABAP programs
Enhance the SAP for end users based on requirements
Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders
Deep understanding of business processes as well as good knowledge of technical issues in the area of financial modules
Gather information on business requirements and prepare documentation
Support business users in the development, implementation, and support of SAP FICO module
Prepare end user training documentation
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions
Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Compensation Range
$124,000 - $133,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree Required
10+ Years of Direct Experience in Information Technology Required
10-15 Years of Direct Experience in Information Technology Preferred
