The Senior Analyst, Strategic Initiatives position holds a pivotal role in business management, tasked with establishing business objectives across the American region. Key duties include managing business plan development, fostering communication with business units, analyzing performance metrics, managing project schedules, researching industry trends for long-term opportunities, and facilitating communication with Glovis Korea HQ. The position underscores a deep understanding of diverse business functions and the ability to communicate and coordinate between stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary
Strategic Planning & Business Management
Integrate principles of business management throughout responsibilities to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to achieving objectivesLead the annual and mid-long term strategic planning process, including the development of the company's vision, mission, and strategic objectivesEnsure the effective implementation of established business goals, closely monitoring the overall progress of the company in alignment with its objectivesProvide strategic management support to contribute to the successful execution of business objectivesApply strategic acumen to analyze quantitative data effectively, contributing to informed decision-making and goal
Cross-functionalCollaboration
Diligently manage schedules for critical projects, optimizing operational capabilities across subsidiariesAnalyze data to suggest ways that subsidiaries can operate more efficiently
Stakeholder Communication
Foster close communicate the strategic plan to all company stakeholders, including senior leadership and board membersFacilitate regular update meetings on strategic projects and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Conduct in-depth research on diverse industry trends, identifying and capitalizing on long-term business opportunitiesPresent summary of data and trends through research, collection, and analysis of the latest market researchDevelop and maintain competitive intelligence databases
