Job Summary

Provides primary support to department leadership with the evaluation, development, and execution of all athletics compliance-related activities. Advises on policy and/or protocol change, investigation of possible violations, and represents the compliance office in any matter as needed. Responsible for the supervision of assigned staff, setting goals, performance management, and providing feedback. Interacts, counsels and advises with student-athletes, coaches, staff, and external constituents.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -1. Assists with the development, implementation, and updates to the Kennesaw State University (KSU) athletics compliance policies and procedures2. Serves as a liaison to assigned sports, and institutional constituents on all NCAA compliance matters3. Serves as the point person for assigned responsibilities surrounding Name, Image, and Likeness4. Addresses violations of NCAA rules, KSU athletics regulations, or conduct that impact policies or the reputation of KSU5. Monitors systems, policies and procedures to ensure adherence to University, conference, NCAA, and/or other governing rules and regulations6. Provides oversight and plans the NCAA Rules Education Program for internal and external entities7. Responsible for the supervision and performance management of assigned staff

Required Qualifications

Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.

Required ExperienceFive (5) years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational QualificationsAn advanced or Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred ExperienceExperience in Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) Division I athletics program.

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range is $73,160 to $78,000. Offers are based on relevant experience.
