An established client in Hartford is seeking a motivated Collections Manager to join their team. The Collections Manager will play a critical role in managing the collections process, resolving outstanding balances, and improving the company's cash flow. We're looking for someone who is analytical, goal-oriented, and passionate about leading a team to success in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Collections Manager
- Oversee the collections process, including aging reports, resolving overdue balances, and implementing best practices.
- Lead and develop the collections team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Communicate with clients to resolve billing issues, negotiate payment arrangements, and establish positive client relationships.
- Generate regular reports on collections performance and provide insights for process improvements.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to streamline processes and manage risk effectively.
Preferred Qualifications for the Collections Manager
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
- Experience in collections, credit, or AR management
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
