Role Description:We are seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team. This role enhances deposit operations by supporting data consistency, process efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and procedures. This role involves a range of tasks supporting internal deposit operations, including maintaining data integrity, assisting with audits and reviews, and implementing key updates to processes and policies as needed. With a thorough understanding of deposit operational flows, the Deposit Operations Specialist provides additional support to client service teams as needed, contributing to smooth and effective operations and experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of our business unit and a strong grasp of deposit operations. This candidate should be highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
In this role you will:
Support a high standard of data accuracy and operational efficiency across deposit operations functions
Perform targeted account maintenance, ensuring consistent data integrity for internal and regulatory needs
Assist with internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation, supporting requests, and participating in process walkthroughs as needed
Coordinate with internal teams to track, report, and resolve operational issues, driving continuous improvement in processes and documentation
Implement and update client pricing structures as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to current standards
Prepare and analyze deposit reports to provide insights for internal stakeholders and identify opportunities for process improvements
Assist with the update and implementation of policies and procedures in response to regulatory or operational changes
Oversee the escheatment process to ensure compliance with regulations and efficient handling of unclaimed property
Conduct research and produce documentation for subpoenas and other legal requests
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
2+ years of Deposit/Retail Banking experience
Are intellectually curious and detail oriented
