is looking for a Digital Transformation Portfolio Manager to join our Transformation and Sustainability team based in
Grand Prairie, TX.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating strategic roadmaps for the company’s digital journey, typically looking at the future for the next several years, driving digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of tasks across multiple projects. You will bring your expertise in program and project management, digital strategy, and leadership to achieve Airbus Americas’ growth objectives.
Your Challenges:
Build and deliver a consolidated, regional digital strategy and roadmap: 35%
Orchestrate cross-functional teams to create digital strategic roadmaps collaboratively with the functions.
Collaborate with North America (“NA”) Digital and Enterprise Architecture organizations to develop and validate the template roadmap.
Align digital strategy with the business strategy, and develop a cohesive digital strategy.
Conduct external research, analyzing case studies, and benchmarking standard methodologies.
Implement projects identified as "value creators": 30%
Coordinate with digital collaborators for solution definition, execution set-up, implementation planning, and business case.
Supervise the planning and execution of digital innovative projects.
Handle schedules and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of high-quality results.
Lead the implementation of innovative solutions to boost growth and operational efficiency.
Ensure deployment of Analytics use cases in collaboration with the Analytics Product team.
Use data analytics to measure the impact of technological changes, identifying areas of success and areas that require improvement.
Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Grow a digital culture at AHNA and in the Region: 20%
Build relationships across the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ensure Stakeholder management.
Create a digital training curriculum covering emerging technologies.
Organize "spot lights" on various emerging technologies and activities to grow awareness.
Instill change management: address concerns, and inspire teams to embrace new ways of working.
Grow a relationship with the Digital Academy.
Coordinate AHNA Digital Boards throughout the year.
Actively engage in the marketplace to drive awareness of Digital Transformation.
Foster the development of a local Digital Ecosystem & Methods: 10%
Develop routines with Airbus Helicopters and Airbus Commercial local and central Digital teams.
Support agile methodology deployment including Portfolio management.
Become a "Safe coach" for Airbus Americas transformation execution.
Your Boarding Pass:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in management, program management, engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project management within a complex industrial organization, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in leading digital, innovation or transformation change initiatives.
Knowledge of IT and Digital Technologies and potential usage/benefits of these technologies for the business.
Demonstrated track record of end-to-end project execution.
20% Domestic and International travel required.
Eligible for employment in the US.
Preferred Skills:
Master’s degree.
Experience and exposure to Aerospace and Defense industry.
Experience in developing and enhancing data-driven strategies.
Experience with continuous process improvement and change management.
Familiar with cybersecurity frameworks.
PMP certification or equivalent.
Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Certification or Agile or SAFe Project Management.
Physical Requirements:
Onsite or remote: 90% Onsite.
Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment.
Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference.
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings.
Equipment Operation: able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment.
Carrying and Lifting: able to carry and lift documents, tools, drawings, and electronic equipment up to 10lbs/5kgs.
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice up to 20% of the time.
PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits.
