Description of Duties:

* Teach undergraduate and/or graduate Nursing courses in online, hybrid and on-campus modes, primarily in the Family Nurse Practitioner program, in a student-centered teaching environment within an evidence-based practice setting.* Engage in scholarship and service commitments.* Maintain an active Family Nurse Practitioner practice.* Engage in professional or academic activities in campus-based, local, regional or broader communities in an effort to make a positive impact and advance the recognition and reputation of the College and SUNY Poly.* Be actively involved in student advising and mentoring, assessment and assurance of learning, curriculum design and revision, as well as committee services at all levels of the Institute.* Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Salary: Assistant Professor $95,000 - $105,000 / Associate Professor $105,000 - $115,000

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Doctoral degree or ABD or DNP in nursing from an institution accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized organization and a National Nursing Acrediting Organization.* Doctoral candidates must demonstrate a reasonable expectation of completing the DNP or PhD within two years of employment.* National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner is desirable.
