Job SummaryThe Change Management Team Lead provides leadership, oversight and coordination of activities, functions, operations, processes and procedures of the state’s child welfare Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) program area in order to meet Department priorities and comply with state and federal requirements.
Additional responsibilities include:
Provide leadership, coordination and coaching of a team of professionals to develop and implement an effective Child and Family Service Review (CFSR) process as well as an effective continuous quality improvement (CQI) system for child welfare cases across Minnesota.
Provide consultation, Continuous Quality Improvement training, conduct Continuous Quality Improvement reviews and quality improvement processes in assigned counties and tribes.
Provide leadership to building organizational effectiveness and capacity of the child welfare CQI system, and ensure strategic alignment of CQI system with the priorities of the Child Safety and Permanency division.
In consultation with the supervisor, lead state planning and coordination for the federal review (CFSR) of Minnesota’s child welfare system according to the timelines and procedures set out in federal regulations.
QualificationsMinimum QualificationsThree (3) years of professional experience in Social Services or Public Welfare Systems. Experience must demonstrate:
Knowledge of child welfare, child protection and foster care programs and standards.
Knowledge of best practice in continuous quality improvement, implementation science and safety science.
Experience using technology system tools such as Microsoft Office, Social Service Information System (SSIS) to conduct case reviews, research, communicate and educate.
Preferred Qualifications
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
Experience in organizing and developing project work plans, manage programs and policies to coordinate social services.
