Direct Counsel is seeking
a
Franchise Law Attorney
with substantial experience to join a respected law firm’s Business Practice. This partner-level role provides the opportunity to work with top franchise clients across diverse industry sectors and oversee complex franchise agreements, compliance, and disputes.
Key Responsibilities
Represent franchisors, franchisees, and manufacturers in licensing and franchise matters
Prepare offering documentation, including franchise disclosure documents and registrations
Draft franchise agreements and address franchise relationship issues
Advise on regulatory compliance and respond to governmental inquiries
Qualifications
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
and license to practice law
7+ years
of experience in franchise law, handling franchise agreements, offering documentation, and compliance matters
Established book of business required (partial or full)
Strong academic background with excellent analytical and writing skills
Client-centered approach with exceptional communication skills
Ability to manage responsibilities independently and as part of a diverse team
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range : $200,000 - $325,000 annually (based on experience and location)
