Associate Attorney

employment litigation

The successful candidate will have strong research, writing, and trial preparation skills, coupled with the ability to independently manage a caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to grow their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis across multiple practice areas, utilizing Westlaw and other resources.Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients effectively in court proceedings and negotiations.Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.Provide clients with legal guidance and strategic advice.Assist in managing case files and preparing for trial.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters to develop strategies and case plans.
What You Need
Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years in commercial, employment, real estate, intellectual property, or civil litigation.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Strong negotiation skills for settlements and agreements.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Knowledge of Westlaw and other legal research tools.License/Certification: Active Bar membership (required).Commute: Ability to commute to Encino, CA 91436 (required).
Salary & Benefits
Location: Encino, CA 91436 (In-person with occasional remote work).Full-time.Pay: $135,000 - $145,000 per year.401(k) retirement plan.Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off (PTO).Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
