The position offers a hybrid work environment, competitive salary, and the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients, including contractors, suppliers, and homeowners.Duties:Prepare and draft mechanic and materialmen liens, bond claims, and associated legal notices.Draft demand letters, pleadings, and discovery documents.Conduct depositions and site visits to gather relevant case information.Research property and title details to support legal claims.Draft and argue motions before the court.Advise clients on lien, bond, security, and credit management strategies.Prepare for trials, assist with trial proceedings, and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Maintain accurate and detailed time records for all casework.Requirements:Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington and in good standing in all jurisdictions where licensed.2 to 6 years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in construction or real estate law.Strong academic background and excellent research skills.Effective communication and organizational abilities.Prior experience handling collections or lien foreclosures is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active member of the Washington State Bar (required).Skills:Proficient in drafting legal documents and conducting depositions.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
