Our Accountant will be involved in the day-to-day business operations. This will include all accounting aspects of the business, generating financial reports, budgets, audit involvement, month-end close, reconciliations, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, daily sales and cash reporting, and other assigned tasks.
Position Responsibilities will include:
Monthly financial statements reporting; and help identify the best strategy for organizing and monitoring
Journal Entries and preparation of monthly income statement and balance sheet
General bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents and receipts as needed; including preparing bank reconciliations and various account analysis as requested
Prepare annual budget
Prepare documentation for external auditors
Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
Organize and update financial records
Receive, review and process all incoming invoices, check requests, expense reports, etc.
Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers
Review vendor statements and enter invoice adjustments or credit memos
Enter all vouchers into the accounts payable accounting system for batching and payment processing.
Request wire payment transfers and prepare check run request and coordinate timely mailing of checks
Print and maintain A/P and A/R reports, customer and vendor files
Communicate with Logistics personnel regarding freight issues
Manage the integrity of information contained in the accounts payable database and files so that information is retrievable for departments, and intact for annual audit
Provide support to Annual Audit
Reconcile monthly corporate card accounts
Supervise team to ensure accurate receiving of inventories in the system.
Cost calculation and allocation of added costs to the products being received for all US warehouse location.
Inventory reconciliation
Constant communication with all departments when needed related to inventory reconciliation and answer questions related to inventory inquiries.
Supervise inventory cycle counts
Facilitate physical inventory
Review accuracy in receiving process through our SAGE system.
Required Education/Experience:
A 4-year Bachelors degree
2+ years experience in accounting
Very good knowledge of new US GAAP
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel - (V Look Up)
Knows and has been responsible for a Companys month end close procedures
Competencies:
Bilingual (Spanish a PLUS)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read and analyze financial reports
Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information
Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet timely obligations
Skilled using various accounting software and experience in troubleshooting common accounting program problems
Experience with International Accounting and Manufacturing Companies a plus

Salary is $70,000-$75,000 DOE
