Finance Director

Reports to:

General Manager

Position Purpose:

The Finance Director is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the Mid-West and South-East Business Units. This role involves managing the financial health of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. The Finance Director will ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the development of the annual business unit operating budgets, including long-term financial plans and forecasts.Monitor and manage budget performance, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and reporting any variances.Work collaboratively with General Managers to ensure budget adherence and other financial KPI metrics.Month-end Close Reporting:

Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS.Provide timely analysis of current site contract performance.Reconciliation for any variances from budget and forecast for all sites monthly.Ad-hoc reporting for Operational and Senior Financial ManagementStrategic Planning and Risk Management:

Participate in the development of the organization's strategic plan, providing financial insights and recommendations.Identify and assess financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate these risks.Promote collaboration between the finance department and other departments to support organizational goals.Qualifications:

Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.Considerable experience in percentage of completion accounting. Experience with industrial construction, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing, is highly desirable.Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS regulations.Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Working Conditions:

This is a full-time, in office position based in Louisville, KYTravel may be required for meetings, training, or conferences.The role may require additional hours during peak periods such as budget preparation or month-end close.
