AdvancedEV in Dallas TX, is looking for a Production Manager that will be responsible for overseeing the production and manufacturing process of golf carts from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff, coordinating resources, and ensuring the timely and efficient production of high-quality golf carts.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, and meeting production targets. Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and plan production accordingly.Supervise and lead a team of production staff, including technicians, assemblers, and quality control personnel. Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide training and guidance, and ensure a safe and productive working environment.Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure the production of golf carts that meet or exceed customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to implement improvements in manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and equipment utilization.Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products. Coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments to ensure a steady supply of materials while minimizing inventory carrying costs.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines. Implement and enforce workplace safety measures to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.Liaise with suppliers to coordinate timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to quality, quantity, or specifications. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.Generate production reports, analyze performance metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management. Identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.Qualifications:

Proven experience in production management, preferably in the automotive or equipment manufacturing industry.Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and lean manufacturing principles.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Proficiency in using production management software and tools.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.Full Time Position
