Looking for a promising career in light manufacturing and are mechanically inclined? DIY Media Group is looking for a candidate with high energy and attention to detail to join our Packaging team. In this role you will deliver finished discs and other products to musicians, videographers, and corporate customers. You'll learn the proper operation of light industrial robotic machines and/or shrink wrappers that assemble jewel boxes, DVD cases, and the like.
Located right outside Philadelphia in Pennsauken, NJ, DIY Media Group is the parent company to industry-leading brands Disc Makers and Bookbaby. We help musicians, authors, and filmmakers make their dreams come true by manufacturing high quality CDs, DVDs, books, and providing other services independent artists need!

Shift Available:
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 11 AM - 7 PM on-site at our HQ in Pennsauken, NJ
Salary:
$16+ per hour, depending on experience
As a Machine Operator, you will:
Work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented, production environmentLearn to run Packaging machines: Gima disc packaging, Shanklin wrappers, etc.Contribute to a positive, high-energy, diverse team environment to provide a high quality productReceive cross-training and be an active participant in continuous improvement initiativesSuccessful candidates are:
Mechanically inclinedWilling to learn different skills and cross-trainHave an attention for detail and qualityPossess the ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructionsHave knowledge and ability to apply basic safety rules and practicesHave strong math skillsBenefits Include

High School Diploma and work experiencePhysical Demands
