The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation with a focus on connectivity, privacy, and information law, particularly involving copyright issues.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and litigate cases involving connectivity, privacy, and information law, with an emphasis on copyright disputes.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to litigation matters.Assist in all aspects of discovery, including document review, preparation of discovery requests and responses, and management of electronic discovery.Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on matters related to connectivity, privacy, and copyright law.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategy and execute litigation tactics effectively.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.3+ years of relevant experience practicing law, with a strong emphasis on litigation involving connectivity, privacy, and information law, particularly copyright issues.Comprehensive understanding of copyright law, including digital copyright issues and fair use principles.Excellent legal research and writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Preferred Skills:Previous experience in technology litigation or intellectual property law.Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations, cybersecurity issues, and emerging technologies.Experience managing complex litigation cases from inception to resolution.The firm offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
