We are actively searching for a Lead Project Manager in the Houston area for one of the most well-respected commercial General Contractors in the city with over 85% repeat business.

This position will have direct influence over a $100M+ pipeline of high-level interior projects ranging from $5-$50M+. This is a long-term opportunity with incredible growth potential, excellent work/life balance and above average salary package.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of interior construction experience with a commercial General Contractor as a Lead Project Manager with projects valued at $5-$10M+. Experience with multi-floor renovations in an active healthcare setting is a major plus.

Position Overview:

This Lead PM position will be responsible for all phases of project delivery and contribute to the company's development and client satisfaction.

Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policyOversees total construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, quality, safety and schedule requirementsParticipate in project management team to manage interior buildout of new hospital tower constructionCoordinate with field supervisors in management of subcontractors, schedule, quality, and safetyInitiates and serves as liaison with Owner and design team contacts to facilitate construction activitiesMonitors/controls construction administration through direction of on-site staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budgetManage financial aspects of the project – Contract Changes, Project Cost Control, Cost Projections, Pay ApplicationsDevelops procedures and provides opportunities to resolve conflicts as they ariseDevelops sources and follows up on opportunities for future businessManages interior buildout buyout process which includes preparing bid package(s), facilitating and evaluating subcontractor proposals, formalizing recommendations to Owner, and negotiating subcontracts.Oversees maintenance of official project logs and documentation filesParticipates in safety programsProvides direction to planning and scheduling functions as required

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Lead PM with a General ContractorExperience with interior commercial projects valued at $5M+Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, etc.Strong leadership and supervisory skills with proven ability to lead a project teamEffective communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and planning skillsProficient in latest construction software
