MUST HAVE:
3+ years of experience designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsMUST BE:
A US Citizen or a Green Card holder living in the US currently
RESPONSIBILITIESDesigning and overseeing the implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including generator rooms, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.Review and analyze specifications and designs of MEP systemsCollaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into the overall shelter designPerform calculations to ensure structurally safe projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structuresProvide professional consultations on repairs, designs, and constructionParticipate in project meetings and take an active role in resolving concerns and solving problemsPerform construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to contractor requests for information (RFIs), and performing site visits to resolve construction issuesAssist in analyzing the critical path schedule for design and construction projectsPrepare, review, and approve project documents including building and systems designs, estimates, specifications, bid packages, technical and engineering correspondence, and reports
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field preferred3+ years of experience designing and developing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant softwareStrong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
