ABOUT OUR CLIENTTop Ranked National General Contractor actively seeking a Lead Superintendent to lead Multifamily projects through completion. Lead Superintendent will have the opportunity to work on site for projects throughout the Duval County area
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Superintendent will have a strong track record of completing Ground Up Multifamily Construction, ensuring their successful delivery within schedule and budget along with the ability to manage vendors, subcontractors, field staff throughout project.Select Responsibilities:Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projectsExperience with Ground up Podium projectsDevelop and manage project schedules.Manage subcontractor performance relationships.Be responsible for both the timeliness and total quality of assigned projects.Prepare project documentation for coordination and effective site management.Implement and execute Quality Control/Quality Assurance program.Promote an Injury-free job site through safety initiatives and award winning Company safety program.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS8-20 years of construction management and/or craft supervisor experienceEngineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experienceExceptional knowledge of construction processes and procedures; ability to successfully manage complex projects through to completionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceDisplays willingness to make decisions and includes the appropriate people within the decision making processAbility to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goalsAbility to maintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresObserves safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditionsLooks for ways to continuously improve both personally and professionallyMust be willing to travel on site to locations nationallyKnowledge of all phases of multifamily construction.
