While we have a strong foundation in staffing IT roles, we are expanding our services to include other critical functions such as sales, marketing, and virtual assistant/executive assistant (VA/EA) roles. Our goal is to meet the evolving needs of our clients with flexible and scalable staffing solutions across multiple sectors.
Position Summary:The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for driving the overall strategy, execution, and success of both sales and marketing efforts. This role combines leadership and hands-on responsibilities, with a focus on scaling the business, managing teams, and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the staff augmentation and recruiting industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to create and execute strategies that drive growth and brand visibility. Experience in lead generation and closing deals in the staffing industry is essential. Having an established client portfolio is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue in line with company goals.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure performance targets are met or exceeded.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, large accounts, and new markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
Use data-driven analysis to identify trends, improve sales processes, and optimize performance.
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure proper client delivery and service satisfaction.
Marketing Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and execute a robust marketing strategy to build brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts.
Oversee all marketing initiatives, including content marketing, digital campaigns, events, social media, SEO/SEM, and email marketing.
Work closely with internal teams to develop and maintain a compelling brand presence.
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to ensure ROI and adjust campaigns as necessary.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to align marketing efforts with talent sourcing needs.
Ensure that all marketing materials and messaging accurately represent the company's value propositions.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with the recruiting, delivery, and operations teams to ensure alignment between client needs, sales efforts, and talent sourcing.
Collaborate with leadership to define strategic initiatives and create integrated business development plans.
Act as a key advisor to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
7+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role, ideally within the staff augmentation, recruiting, or staffing industry.
Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of the staff augmentation and recruiting landscape, including trends, competitive forces, and client needs.
Proven experience in lead generation and closing deals in the staffing industry is essential.
An existing portfolio of clients is highly desired.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing sales and marketing teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in CRM software, digital marketing tools, and data analytics.
