Position - 60049465 and
Anticipate Vacancy - 60049598The Facility Support Specialist (FSS) will support the Floor Shift Nurse Supervisor and House Supervisor with administrative accountability for the assigned areas between the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.; evenings and nights, Monday through Friday; and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. Duties and responsibilities include ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of approximately 150 residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The Facility Support Specialist will work in collaboration with nursing to ensure all staff adhere to State, Federal and O'Berry Center policies and procedures. This position will also assist Nursing in making decisions necessary to maintain the normal operation of the Center, including supervision, and reporting incidents to management. The FSS works under direct supervision of the Unit Nurse Manager. The FSS is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure work environment for employees and residents through application of the Workplace Violence Plan and routine monitoring of assigned homes. Furthermore, CPI, CPR and CNA are required certifications and essential job functions.

Ability to read, write, follow written and oral instructions, and have computer familiarity.

Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
