The University of Arizona seeks a Director, Baseball Operations for administration of the baseball program, including all aspects of team travel and equipment liaison activities.

This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed..

click here .Duties & ResponsibilitiesAdminister the day to day operations of the Baseball Program.Coordinate all aspects of team travel. Candidate will have to travel with team.Create and maintain all necessary business office documents related to team travel and recruiting, including submitting forms for reimbursement and payment.Assist the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches with coordinating recruiting.Plan and organize Arizona's and visiting team's practices.Works directly with academics and compliance ensuring NCAA compliance.Serve as primary contact with various internal constituents, such as event management, public relations, marketing, sports information, Wildcat Club and others, working in cooperation with their efforts in conjunction with baseball program.Assist in developing and maintaining public relations programs. Aid in design and development of a program to reach out to the community, schools, and other service organizations.Aide incoming student-athletes with initial paperwork and requirement, serve as point of reference.Assist Head Coach in budget development and oversee purchasing and expensesSupervise and act as a liaison on all baseball external programs.Coordinate usage and preparation of baseball facilities and equipment for use in practice and games.Supervise student managers.Additional duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of NCAA, Pac-12, and University of Arizona rules and regulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCommitment to academic and athletic successAbility to problem solve and make decisionsAbility to multi-task with frequent interruptionsDedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projectsMeticulous attention to detailSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanorDemonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projectsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitudeMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.One year of experience.Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree.Experience working with a diverse population.Experience with various computer programs, including MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe PageMaker, and other software programs.Experience working and interacting with staff, faculty, and student-athletes.Experience with simultaneously managing multiple tasks.
