About the role:
The Growth Marketing team is looking for a Public Sector marketing leader for this fast-growing segment.
In this role, you will create the Public Sector marketing program strategy and partner with the sales team to drive qualified pipeline, crafting campaigns, demand generation programs, content, field marketing, and partner plays.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Area and NYC Metro Area. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role, you will:
Own quarterly and annual Public Sector pipeline generation goals, aligning on plans with cross-functional stakeholders.
Define the strategy for marketing to the Public Sector, driving innovation on go-to-market motions.
Drive pipeline and revenue growth by identifying new channels or tactics.
Own the marketing program budget for Public Sector.
Forecast and measure the impact of demand generation activities on sales pipeline and revenue.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build a best-in-class go-to-market motion.
Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles.
Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.
Minimum requirements for the role:
8+ years of experience in growth, management consulting, finance, analytics, marketing, or a related area.
4+ years of experience working in or with the Public Sector.
Experience marketing in an enterprise technology sales cycle.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive business impact.
Proven ability to lead by influence.
Salesforce proficiency.
BS/BA in a quantitative or marketing-related field or equivalent experience required.
Located in the US.
An ideal candidate also has:
Deep familiarity with effective marketing strategies across government or educational institutions.
Experience developing a high performance team.
