About the role:

The Growth Marketing team is looking for a Public Sector marketing leader for this fast-growing segment with huge market potential.

In this role, you will create the Public Sector marketing program strategy and partner with the sales team to drive qualified pipeline. You will be responsible for crafting the go-to-market motion, including campaigns, demand generation programs, content, field marketing, and partner plays, ensuring investments align with company priorities.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Area and NYC Metro Area. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

In this role, you will:

Own quarterly and annual Public Sector pipeline generation goals, aligning on plans with cross-functional stakeholders and leveraging marketing channels to achieve targets.

Define the strategy for marketing to the Public Sector, driving innovation on go-to-market motions for states, cities, counties, and educational institutions.

Drive pipeline and revenue growth by identifying new channels or tactics to scale and optimize the sales funnel to unlock incremental revenue.

Own the marketing program budget for Public Sector, prioritizing and allocating resources for greatest impact.

Forecast and measure the impact of demand generation activities on sales pipeline and revenue; continuously evaluate the performance and ROI of programs, adjusting tactics and strategy accordingly.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, sales, finance, business operations, product, and account development to build a best-in-class go-to-market motion by leading joint initiatives, facilitating communication across departments, and driving alignment on marketing strategies.

Minimum requirements for the role:

8+ years of experience in growth, management consulting, finance, analytics, marketing, or a related area.

4+ years of experience working in or with the Public Sector, especially state or local governments.

Experience marketing in an enterprise technology sales cycle; familiar with inside and field sales, sales development programs, data sourcing, and outbound marketing campaigns.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to succinctly communicate cross-functionally and with executives.

Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive business impact.

Proven ability to lead by influence to drive cross-functional initiatives and business outcomes.

Salesforce proficiency.

BS/BA in a quantitative or marketing-related field or equivalent experience required.

Located in the US.

An ideal candidate also has:

Deep familiarity with effective marketing strategies and buying motions across a wide range of government or educational institutions.

Experience developing a high performance team.
