The ideal candidate will possess high academic achievement, solid considerable law firm experience, and superb writing and communication skills. The role demands broad real estate finance experience, particularly in loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.Duties:
Handle transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing.Engage in loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Manage asset management and workout processes.Execute secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Draft and negotiate real estate finance documents and agreements.Provide counsel on compliance with real estate finance laws and regulations.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal developments in real estate finance.Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of broad real estate finance experience.Experience in loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.Experience with mezzanine loans and preferred equity.Asset management and workout experience.Proven track record of running transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing.Familiarity with secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Florida.Skills:
High level of academic achievement.Solid, considerable law firm experience.Superb writing and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.Benefits Offered:
