We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our urology team. In this role, you will perform both administrative and clinical duties, including scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood under the direction and support of our clinic providers.Key Responsibilities
Administrative duties: Scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.Clinical duties: Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and drawing blood under the direction and support of our clinic providers.Requirements
Education: Graduated from a formal MA training program or accredited LPN Diploma program.Experience: None required, but previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively in a team, proficient computer skills, and ability to carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversight.Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification from a recognized program, such as CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA), NRCMA (NAHP), or LPN, and obtain American Heart Association BLS within 90 days of hire.Benefits
