Responsibilities
SCA Health is seeking an Associate Director of Integration who will be dedicated to SCAH's acquisition, complex deals, and multi-site related project efforts. The Associate Director of Integration will work closely with new partnerships, SCAH’s operational leadership, clinical and support services teams, as well as a variety of external stakeholders. Associate Directors of Integration are expected to work independently leading complex projects while ensuring process standardization and scalability.Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the simultaneous management of multiple projects with varying size and complexity. Project types include single site acquisitions, geographic multi-site acquistions, complex ASC integrations, UHG level acquisitions, de-integration of closed or divested facilities, and other projects as needed to support the enterprise. The role will include project management of the entire project life cycle, from the planning stages to the complete execution of the workplan.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDrive accountability with the project team to ensure projects utilize optimized resources and tools to ensure consistent outcomes on time and in budgetEstablish themselves as a strategic thought partner and executor for complex organizational dealsPartner with support services departments to ensure effective communication, facility support, and efficient use of SCAH resourcesDevelop and/or provide education to support role clarity, accountability and empowerment of key stakeholdersLead the resolution of cross-functional/lane issuesSummarize and communicate proposed solutions with the appropriate audience(s) in a manner tailored to their understanding, level, or experienceEscalate issues to senior management when appropriateProvide supervision and oversight to external consultants and vendorsCreate, manage and maintain design and material standards for ASC projectsProvide direct oversight and management of related licensure enrollment processSupport the building of a bench of teammates able to own more complex organizational projects.Maintain current and relevant knowledge of:
PMP StandardsInstitutional requirements and strategyClinical guidelines and standardsIndustry standards and strategies related to the assigned projects
Provide leadership, oversight and interface with all team members, consultants, vendors, building management, facility staff, physicians and hospital leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in or related to healthcare or business required, masters’ preferred5+ years project management experience with ambulatory surgery center project management requiredStrong understanding of best-in-class project management processes and solutionsStrong understanding of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Surgical Hospitals, Physician Practice and healthcare industry preferredSkills RequiredExcellent interpersonal skills including a proven ability to successfully interact and foster open dialogue with senior executives, facility staff, Development, Operations and Support Service LeadersStrong leadership skills with the ability to mentor teammatesAbility to role model SCA Health’s Mission, Vision and ValuesPossess high integrity, professionalism, optimism, and energyAbility to quickly establish credibility and organizational relationships while building consensusExceptional problem solving with demonstrated ability to achieve results in a fast-paced changing environmentTechnical and organizational skills to balance a portfolio of projectsTravel required – 10-20%USD $115,000.00/Yr.
