Senior Manager, Revenue Management Analytics

JOB SUMMARYThis role will be responsible for assisting the Senior Director and Director with leading the strategic direction of Revenue Management with deep data and analytics, creativity, and structured thinking/decision making to generate revenue to continue to grow the business.
This role will be responsible for pricing management of Sysco’s street business (TRS) to enable commercial strategy and drive profitable growth. This role will be focused on determining price strategies and designing processes and measures, working collaboratively with Sales, Merchandising, and Finance. Additionally, this role will be responsible for influencing business decision, building alignment across business functions, and communicating to executive.RESPONSIBILITIESExecute the strategies and program management (definition workstreams, identifying timelines, sequencing work, capturing dependencies, managing issue resolution and trading off priorities as needed), processes developed by the Leadership team that enable the organization to better use price as a strategic lever to drive business results across product categories and customer segmentsProactively identify pricing opportunities and risks, develop recommendations, and implement solution with cross-functional teams and field leaders.collaboratively with Merchandising to ensure category strategy and market conditions are reflected in pricing strategy.Manage performance of responsible product portfolio and monitor results to determine if the pricing strategy is working as expectedSupport the strategic vision and direction of the pricing analytics roadmap.Approve weekly pricing changes and evaluate margin impact.Develop, coach, mentor and develop AssociatesQUALIFICATIONSEducation Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fieldExperience Required:8 years professional experience in Pricing/Revenue Optimization/ Economics/Finance or 5 years relevant experience in professional consulting services3+ years in of management/supervision/leadership experience required5 years minimum experience in revenue management, sales or finance/merchandising role; or working on a project, results-driven or field engagement type roleExperience Preferred:Experience in leading large, cross-functional projects preferredExperience building and leading high-performance teams preferredTechnical Skills and Abilities:Demonstrates well-developed influencing skills with the ability to easily connect credibly with others and leadership.Problem solving skills:Ability to translate complex data analysis into actionable business insights to support and drive decisionsMust be able to think conceptually, strategically, and creatively with little oversight or direction (i.e. display thought leadership vs. simply “do” or execute something that was developed or directed by someone else)Relationship-Building and Interpersonal SkillsAble to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and colleagues across the enterpriseLeadershipTakes the initiative to suggest and implement ongoing improvements in own and others’ workStrong influencing skills, able to lead and drive results with and without formal authorityAbility to adapt to different management, communication, and delivery styles (as needed) for different situationsProven experience to get work done in a complex matrix organizationAbility to think strategically and tactically from customer perspectiveAbility to structure unique problems and lead cross-functional teams in a way that enables the organization to make significant progress quicklyStrong ability to manage ambiguity and guide the organization through it towards clear and decisive action plansPlanning, Organizing, and Execution Skills:Ability to manage multiple work streams with competing timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environmentSolid team and project management skills to develop implementation plans and drive execution where appropriateExpert knowledge at using Microsoft Power-point and its capabilities to build clear and effective support for presentations and discussionsPhysical Demands:Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
