Must have experience with trach and BiPAP (preferred, not required).Experience with Lasix and Heparin drips preferred.Nurses may be required to titrate drips.Ok for first-time travelers.BLS certification required.Schedule Information
Shifts are 0700-1930 or 1900-0730, scheduling done by manager - Block scheduling possible if unit needs are met.Every other weekend required.Holiday shifts as needed.No call or standby requirement.Unit Specific Information
# of Beds: 31Nurse to patient ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6.Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics with various conditions, some Tele, surgical overflow but not limited to specific cases.Nurse aides/patient care techs present with ratios 1:8.RT Equipment includes BiPAP stable, trachs established with blow by oxygen.Orientation typically 1-2 shifts on the floor.Additional Details
RNs are not required to read and interpret their own strips.Monitor tech available for strips.Unit has a supportive culture with a family-like environment.RTO needed upfront, and additional RTO will not be approved after submissions.BLS certification must be current.Radius Rule: 50 miles exclusion for candidates affiliated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity.
