Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer

with a strong background in

AWS cloud application testing

to join our team. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive test strategies for AWS Cloud applications and system interfaces to ensure high-quality delivery of secure, efficient, and reliable solutions. The (insert job title) will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, contributing to Agile/Scrum processes to uphold testing standards and drive project success. This role requires a mix of manual and automated testing skills, as well as familiarity with Salesforce environments and data integration projects.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for¯AWS Cloud¯applications and system interfaces, covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Ability to work in fast-paced environments, multi-tasking.Verify System usability through comprehensive interface, workflow and use-case test execution.Collaborate closely with¯developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to grasp requirements and define precise test scenarios.Conduct manual testing as needed to¯validate¯software functionality and¯identify¯any defects.Verify and¯validate¯data exchanges between applications and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Monitor and analyze test results,¯identify¯trends and patterns, and communicate defects and issues to the development team¯as needed.Comprehensively document test procedures, test cases, and results¯for¯traceability and reproducibility of tests.Engage in sprint planning sessions, and other Agile/Scrum¯proceedings¯to contribute insights on testability and quality aspects.Stay¯current on¯the latest¯testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, actively sharing knowledge and insights with team members.Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 8 years performing¯application¯testing¯to¯identify¯and document software defects.Proven experience as a Test Engineer or Quality Assurance Engineer, with a focus on testing applications and systems interfaces.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG,¯Test Complete,¯or¯similar¯products.Proficiency¯in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, PowerShell, Perl, or similar.Familiarity with SQL and various databases for data validation and manipulation.Experience working in¯AWS¯cloud environment.Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex, multi-disciplinary security challenges in cloud environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience with Salesforce (Sales or Service Cloud) is a mustWorking knowledge of Salesforce features like Import Data, Objects, Workflows, Layouts, Dashboards and Reports.Knowledge of Salesforce Release, Workbench is a bonus.Experience working on Data Quality, Migration and Integration projects.Preferred Skills and Experience

Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools.Knowledge of web services and APIs for interface testing.Experience supporting DoD or federal government clients.Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,400 - $113,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
