In this crucial role, you will lead the corporate interest rate risk strategy, focusing on optimizing our corporate balance sheet, enhancing net interest income (NII) forecasts, and determining the interest rate risk positioning of the firm.Your leadership will ensure collaboration across various teams, aligning our strategies for sustaining and growing NII with the regulatory landscape and our Board of Directors’ risk appetite. You will have oversight responsibility for the bank's NII sensitivity, economic value of equity (EVE), and mark-to-market (MTM) risk profile, and you'll present influential insights to senior management.The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in financial services, with a strong preference for candidates with Treasury and Interest Rate Risk backgrounds. Proficiency with the Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) framework is essential, along with demonstrated problem-solving skills, process improvement capabilities, and exceptional collaboration and leadership abilities. You should possess a strong analytical mindset, solid quantitative skills, and a meticulous attention to detail.A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as economics, finance, or a quantitative discipline is required.
