The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the corporate interest rate risk management and measurement process, with a focus on the corporate balance sheet, net interest income (NII) forecast, and interest rate risk positioning. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure that the company's strategies for sustaining and growing NII are in line with regulatory constraints and the risk appetite set by the Board of Directors. The VP will oversee the bank's NII sensitivity, economic value of equity (EVE), and mark-to-market (MTM) risk posture, and will be expected to provide clear and influential presentations to senior management. Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services, with a preference for those with a background in Treasury and Interest Rate Risk. Experience with the Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) framework is essential. The role requires a candidate with a proven ability to solve problems, improve processes, and lead and collaborate effectively. An analytical mindset, strong quantitative skills, and a detail-oriented approach are also necessary.
