As the
Segment Applications Engineer - Medical , you will be responsible for providing advanced technical assistance to the Stratasys commercial team by executing pre-sales and post-sales training courses, producing benchmarks and samples, and providing solutions to customer needs. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to the commercial sales teams by working with prospective customers and channel partners under minimal supervision and by advocating. Expand use case applications with key customers.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field /or 6+ years of experience working in a design or manufacturing environment3+ years of experience working in a design or manufacturing environment1+ years of experience of CAD/CAM software applications and/or Additive Manufacturing industry experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Preferred experience with medical manufacturing process requirements, designing and implementing tools and fixtures, performing time and work sequence studies, and recommending adjustments to manufacturing operations, developing standard operations conducting various time and cost studiesExperience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Numerical Control (CNC), Injection Molding, and Low-Cost/Fast-Turn Injection Molding industriesStrong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and WordAbility to independently organize and prioritize multiple dutiesProject leadership and project management skillsGood verbal and written communication skills and the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining a good working relationship with the sales force, customers and internal employeesCustomer-focused attitude with a high sense of urgency and attention to details when handling customers, process, and machine-related issues is required, as well as a willingness and ability to work as an individual, and as a team, with multiple departmentsExperience in the medical device and component industryTRAVEL REQUIREMENT: up to 50%Stratasys
