The ideal candidate will cultivate and manage relationships with a diverse portfolio of donors who are committed to our mission. This role will require you to develop and implement a strategic vision for achieving both public and private funding goals. You will collaborate closely with Executive Directors, regional advisory board members, and fellow fundraisers to enhance donor contributions, focusing significantly on acquiring new donors.The successful applicant will have at least 10 years of experience in complex development and fundraising, along with a proven record of not just meeting but exceeding ambitious fundraising targets. Expertise in crafting multi-year cultivation and stewardship plans is essential, as is the ability to manage a sophisticated donor portfolio efficiently. Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities are also important, as you may guide other development staff.Exceptional relationship-building skills are crucial for this role, enabling you to influence and adapt strategies for a wide range of donors while remaining informed about current philanthropic trends. As a vital member of our Field Fundraising team, your primary focus will be on engaging local donors. This influential position is critical in securing the resources necessary to support our educational initiatives.
