Job Summary/Basic Function

Weber State University (WSU) is an exceptional comprehensive university providing associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees to meet the needs of the region. The Moyes College of Education is dedicated to developing and maintaining healthy, responsible individuals, families, and schools in a global and diverse society. This commitment is fulfilled through the preparation and support of practitioners and educators, service to the campus and community, and the discovery and advancement of knowledge.

In addition to supporting the MCOE's academic mission, the Dean will lead enrollment and retention efforts of the college. As a member of the university leadership team, the Dean will work collaboratively with the Office of Academic Affairs and other academic colleges. The Dean will also be expected to work closely with the Office of Advancement in fundraising efforts and will play a key role in relationship development with alumni and external partners.

Required Qualifications

Weber State University seeks a Dean who minimally has:

A Ph.D./Ed.D. related to one of the college's major disciplines (see: https://www.weber.edu/COE/) from an accredited institution,Been awarded tenure and holds rank as a full professor, and3 years of academic administration experience including budget and personnel management.Preferred Qualifications
