Minimum Qualifications Summary

10 years' intelligence staff experience (within the last 12 years) in DOD threat, indications and warning, open-source collection, analysis, and production from tactical through operational/Combatant Command (COCOM)4 years of experience using intelligence automated information, intelligence, and communication systems, tools, databases, and programs (such as Analyst Notebook or Palantir)5 years' experience researching and integrating current intelligence and operations to develop scenarios, studies and analysis3 years' total experience in USSOCOM assigned organizations, as military, Government civilian or contractor3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flag- level command staff5 years' experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint, Access, Excel etc.)Job Objective This position will support United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Concept Development and Integration Division requires Futures Planning and Synchronization (FPS) support services at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB) in Tampa, FL. This is a contracted position under a four-year contract that will provide the Special Operation Forces (SOF) Enterprise with qualified contractor personnel to provide advice, analyses, and assistance in carrying out responsibilities required to support USSOCOM assigned missions. Specific responsibilities and qualifications follow.
Responsibilities
Assist the Experimentation Branch to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies, methodologies, and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures which could affect Special Operations Forces (SOF), missions and activitiesPlan, collect, process, analyze, produce, and disseminate information of intelligence value relevant to SOFProduce threat assessments, conduct research to identify new and developing threats and sources, and update customer on the projected changes within the future threat landscapeWork closely with other team members to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted systems, identify trends, patterns, key nodes, and highlight their relationships to the targeted systemsLiaise with team members to determine information needs, formats requirements, security classifications, and deliverable timelinesParticipate in EXFOR-related forums, working groups, external assemblies (i.e. Conferences, technology shows, etc.)Establish and/or maintain contact with HQ USSOCOM J2, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and other Department of Defense (DoD), Joint Staff, Military Service and SOF Component Intelligence entitiesTravel up to 25% of the time on a monthly basisPrepare reports, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholdersEducation & Certification
