Job Description
We are currently hiring a
Regional Walmart Lead
for the Texas/OK regions.
Ideal candidate to live in Austin / Central TX near metro airport .
*Please note that while this position is listed as "working remotely", our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Increase availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned BBC Region crossing multiple states and potentially Divisions. This to generate depletion growth while adding value to our wholesaler partners and local BBC Teams. The primary focus is to align with Division Directors and Regional Managers while making vertical calls to Walmart's field team to deliver regional programming and drive nationally called out features. In addition, help to develop new ways of work to call on Walmart, for our wholesaler partners through; education, operational efficiencies, feature alignment and MOD integrity.
What You'll Brew:
Be proficient in BBC's systems and selling process with retailers, wholesalers, and team of indirect reports
Be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles
Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business opportunities within the retailer while managing budgets to proper ROI
Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentations
Develop, maintain and strengthen KEY stakeholder relationships within wholesalers through strategic selling and superior customer service
Develop & drive Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for assigned geographical area
Effectively mobilize wholesaler network and BBC sales teams to fulfill all BBC features, sell vs. authorizations/approved packages, compliance issues, focus timeframes and other key selling opportunities
Work closely with category management team to develop insights, analysis, and tools to drive business within the off-premise channel
Develop skills to analyze Walmart's data systems and leverage insights internally and with Walmart thru effectively communicated insights to both geo team and core wholesalers
Must be comfortable with a 75% field based position as travel required up to 50% for this role
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 4+ years Consumer Package Sales and Management
Must have experience working with Walmart
Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience working with wholesalers
Level: 6
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $74,909 and $147,098. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance
