Job Description:
The Project Manager is the primary management leader to the field team, and is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site. This position will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and write SubcontractsWrite purchase ordersOversee Superintendent purchases for large quantities of material, rental equipment and forming systemsServe as liaison between Subcontractor and OwnerProcess and submit proposed changes to OwnerChair weekly project meetingsPrepare monthly billing to OwnerMaintain proposed changes and appendix logsDetermine construction scheduleMonitor and oversee progress of the projectExpedite material deliveries when neededAssist the Superintendent in Architect details and submittalsReview weekly progress reportsReview monthly job cost reportsMonitor safety programFinalize project to assure final payment, including warranty, as-built drawings and maintenance manualsMonitor and oversee Quality ManagerParticipate in Value Engineering discussionsEstimate project costsEnsure completion of project startup checklistEnsure uniformity among all projectsParticipate in Design-Build meetingsIdentify and address potential project liabilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science/Management preferred7+ years in Construction Management preferred7+ years of Supervisory experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordFamiliar with RedTeam Construction Management SoftwareExperience with Construction job cost managementFamiliar with Gantt schedulingStrong communication skills, both written and oral
Schedule:40 hours per week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Thursday; 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Friday
