Aerospace Hydraulic Performance Engineer

A highly skilled and motivated Performance Engineer is needed to work on hydraulic systems for next generation aircraft. As a Performance Engineer, you will work on a range of tasks including: creation of system architecture; performance prediction; system analysis; failure and reliability analyses; as well as verification and validation testing.Employer:

Contribute to the development and documentation of verifiable requirements into a total systems solution.Analyze/troubleshoot problems, present accurate solutions.Create design reports and presentations based on results from modeling and simulations.Create concise reports that document the design decisions and analysis results.Support the identification, definition and closure of Systems-and Subsystems-level Requirements Verification and Validation.Support system- and subsystem-level integration and test, including any anomaly investigations.Contribute as a technical member on a team of creative, independent individuals.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or another related field with a minimum of three (3) years of practical hydraulic systems engineering experience.Experience with modeling and simulation methods; and hydraulic control system design and verification.Experience with Simcenter Amesim, Matlab Simscape Fluids, and/or other simulation tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.On-site work in Long Beach, California required.Local candidates preferred.Experience with aircraft development programs preferred.About M4:
