As a Software Development Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing a complex ground system for the United States Space Force and other U.S. Government customers.
YOU MUST POSSESS OR BE ELIGIBLE FOR A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.Responsibilities:
Achieve expertise in the existing Freedom Platform codebaseDevelop new software features and maintain existing codeCreate software feature designs and conduct peer reviews for quality assurancePractice strong code coverage through unit and integration testingShow potential to champion new software projects for system enhancementBuild the codebase with consideration for maintainability and deployabilitySupport Operations in anomaly investigations and on-call dutiesQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExcellent programming skills in Java, Rust, Python, or other languages1-3 years of experience in software developmentExperience interfacing with various data sources: SQL, NoSQL, RESTful APIsHighly motivated, detail-oriented, and intellectually curiousExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Familiarity with satellite communications concepts and methodsPossess or be eligible for a Top-Secret ClearanceLocation:
