Joining ZERO means becoming part of a remarkable community where individuals inspire each other daily, transcending the typical job experience.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Measurement & Evaluation to lead our efforts in data-driven decision-making and program improvement. This role will initially report to the Chief Mission Officer and will be building out a team, including 1 direct report.Duties/Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive measurement and evaluation (M&E) plan for current and expanded Mission programs and health equity activities.Align M&E strategies with ZERO's overall Mission Department objectives and project goals.Collaborate with the Mission Department leadership team to integrate data-driven insights into department and organizational decision-making.

Data Management and Analysis:

Oversee the collection, validation, organization, and analysis of project data.Implement appropriate software and methodologies for data management.Identify trends, patterns, and insights to inform program improvements.

Reporting and Communication:

Prepare quarterly and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.Present data-driven findings to the Corporate Steering Committee, the Community Engagement Committee, and other project forums.Develop data visualization tools to effectively communicate complex information.

Continuous Project Improvement:

Use data analysis to refine and adapt program strategies and interventions.Collaborate with program teams to implement data-driven improvements.Stay current with best practices in community health project measurement and evaluation, including a strong emphasis on health equity.

Partnership and Collaboration:

Work closely with ZERO's Community Outreach team and local staff.Facilitate data sharing and collaborative research with project partners.Support the use of data for advocacy efforts and policy recommendations.

Team Management:

Lead and develop the Measurement & Evaluation team.Ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to perform effectively.Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or related field.7+ years of experience in health-related measurement and evaluation, preferably in cancer or health equity.Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or related field.National experience creating abstracts, conference posters, and delivering written/oral presentations.Minimum 5 years of previous experience working among diverse stakeholders within the health sector, including community stakeholders.Physical Requirements:

Constant use of a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as computer printer, calculator, and copier.Prolonged periods of a stationary position at least 50% of the time.The ability to recognize details at close range for extended periods of time.The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. This position is based remotely and candidates may live in any area within the United States.
