Job Description

Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance and best practicesOversee full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selectionManage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organizationFoster positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and performance managementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsAdminister and oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time offDevelop and implement employee training and development programs to enhance skills and promote career growthConduct regular performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement plansManage the organization's compensation strategy, including salary structures and pay equityOversee the maintenance of employee records and HRIS databaseCollaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goalsLead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to foster an inclusive workplace cultureManage employee exit processes, including conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover dataServe as a key advisor to management on HR-related issues and best practicesDevelop and monitor HR budget, ensuring cost-effective management of resourcesQualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred3-5 years of progressive experience in HR management, ideally in a nonprofit or social enterprise settingStrong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulationsProficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systemsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionExperience in developing and implementing HR policies and proceduresStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCertification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferredFamiliarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion best practicesAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with performance management and employee development programsKnowledge of compensation and benefits administrationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelAdditional Information
