The Eminent Domain Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling all aspects of eminent domain and real property litigation, including law and motion practice, trial preparation, and case management. The successful candidate will demonstrate superior research and writing skills, exceptional academic credentials, and a strong work ethic. They will collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to elevating the firm's brand and reputation.Duties:
Handle all aspects of eminent domain and real property litigation.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Prepare and present cases for trial, including developing evidence and witness examination.Interview witnesses and take and defend depositions.Collaborate with partners and other team members to strategize and execute case objectives.Maintain accurate case management records and deadlines.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.4-7 years of relevant experience in eminent domain or real estate/real property law.Superior research and writing skills.Excellent academic credentials.Strong analytical and creative thinking capabilities.Proven ability to work effectively in teams.Prior experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.Interest in contributing to the firm's brand and reputation.Preferred:
Experience in eminent domain or real estate/real property law.Prior trial experience.Knowledge of California eminent domain laws and procedures.Skills:
