A law firm is seeking an Eminent Domain Associate Attorney for its San Diego, CA office. The ideal candidate will possess 4-7 years of experience and meet the following qualifications:Job Overview:
The Eminent Domain Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in eminent domain and real estate matters. They will collaborate with team members to build strong cases for trial and contribute to enhancing the firm's brand and reputation.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on eminent domain and real estate law issues.Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and briefs.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.Develop evidence and prepare cases for trial.Interview witnesses and prepare them for deposition and trial testimony.Take and defend depositions.Collaborate with team members on case strategy and preparation.Assist in building the firm's reputation through client service and professional development activities.Requirements:4-7 years of experience practicing law.Superior research and writing skills.Excellent academic credentials.Outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions.Prior experience in building cases for trial in eminent domain or real estate/real property matters is preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to client service and professional excellence.Benefits:
